On April 10, SDWP and Suez Environment Group signed the contract of Dhaka Environmentally Sustainable Water Supply Project (Phase I Intake Pump Station) at Jinan.

The project is located in Dhaka, Bangladesh and funded jointly by the Asian Development Bank, the Bank of France and the Bangladesh Government. The Suez Environmental Group engage the project design, and the SDWP undertake the construction of the first phase of the project. The Project is a water supply project based on European and American standards. Its successful undertaking is a full consent of the comprehensive strength of SDWP.

As Bangladesh's first large-scale water supply project, the project will greatly alleviate the water supply problem in the capital city Dhaka and improve the local people's livelihood.
